Public School System or Government Indoctrination Center (Part 1)
Part 1 of 3
Just a Rambling Rant about our Socialist
So what in the heck is going on with our schools today? Has anyone noticed or cared to take a hard look at this. Does anyone even care? I do not understand what is going on looking at either end of the problem, whichever direction I approach this mess it seems as though it’s a new thing and no one has ever heard of it. Or it is normal and nothing to be concerned with, or perhaps people are aware but say they are powerless to do anything. Then of course we have the parents that use the public schools as nothing more than babysitters or could care less what happens to their kids while they are there. Of course there are also parents that know what the schools are doing with their kids and love it, totally agree with the agenda because they themselves are Progressive Socialist people that hate America.
We hear all the time “it’s for the children” from every dam politician in America when they want to do something stupid. And we hear all the time from parents telling you how their children are their life, they mean more to them than anything on earth. I just don’t know where to begin here, do I call BS on the politicians and parents? We realize the politicians are full of crap whenever they pretend to care about the kids of America, they could care less. Don’t believe me, just keep reading. Now I question if parents are either complacent, don’t give a rats ass or complicit in what is taking place in our so called Public Schools. And it is not just them that are involved in this total destruction of the minds of our children, every dam teacher’s Union (not necessary the teachers) in America are the ones pushing this garbage on the students every day. The unions use our kids like pawns for their personal gain with the government’s stamp of approval. They drag them out on the streets to demonstrate with them for better contracts, what in God’s name is going on here in America?
Please excuse my French on this, I am sure everyone speaks a bit of French from time to time. I guess the reason this upsets me so much is young children are venerable and defenseless. We as a people, I mean every person must take responsibility to care for a child, protect them. We must also do this as a society, watch over them even if they are not our kids. And most importantly our government must also treat the children of America as our greatest National asset. Not only is the protection of our children a matter of law, it is also a moral responsibility. As a human being it is simply Natural Law that illuminates our moral responsibility as an individual person, a community and as a Nation to nurture and develop young minds into adulthood.
But this is not what is going on today, not in our schools anyway. Not under the direction of the Department of Education, under the direction of union teachers and most certainly not under the guidance of the tenured professors at our universities. I will not address much about parents here, that is a separate issue that only adds to the problems our kids face daily. There are great parents, good ones and average ones and also some that just not seem to engage with their kid’s education. At times I wonder why? The average kid spends as much or more time with their teachers than they do with their parents. Don’t they wonder what is going on at school, just what their kids are learning. Let us leave parenting out of this for now and concentrate on the schools themselves.
What I am writing about is not a new thing that just started happening, it has been going on for years seemly unnoticed. Yet within the past few years this agenda being pushed by our whole education system has accelerated and becoming so intense that it cannot be hidden any longer. They boldly push ideology onto our kids and sometimes do it obscurely at a constant pace that over time becomes normal. We have many problems in America, well we have a LOT of problems now days. But this is our biggest one.
I will say today without reservation our institutions of learning known as the Public School System under the control of the U.S. Dept. of Education is not functioning as such. They are failing miserably at teaching our kids what they need to become thinkers, to be able to apply what they learn to solve problems. I don’t know how to convey what I want to say here very well. Our schools are just not teaching our kids about what they need to know to become successful in life, like reading and writing, mathematics, science, history, civics and socials skills and morality to function within a society or school. Our schools and teachers are doing a terrible job at this. The academic standards steadily decline because the kids cannot achieve an acceptable level in testing. This cycle continues over and over through the years. The kids are not learning, the test scores are bad, so they lower the bar to get more kids to pass to test. Teachers have been caught cheating to raise the scores of their students in testing. They do this for a number of reasons, mostly self interest to make themselves look good.
This statistic is extremely troubling; close to 80 % of New York City high school graduates cannot read and need to relearn basic skills before they can enter the New York community college system. School Officials told CBS 2′s reporter that “nearly 80 percent of those who graduate from city high schools arrived at City University’s community college system without having mastered the skills to do college-level work”. The end result is almost 11,000 kids who got diplomas from city high schools needed remedial courses to re-learn the basics.
If the schools are not teaching our kids reading, writing and math, what are they teaching them? I guess just enough to get by, but not enough to be a Critical Thinker. Enough to function in life making a living, but few gain the knowledge to apply the basic skills they have learned to solve problems and teach themselves. I really do not know to what level of academic understanding our kids are taught, but I have some idea what they are not taught. Leaving the area of basic skill set learning, what else do the schools teach the kids? Well, a heck of a lot really when you think about it. They are at school for a better part of a day, their life at that point in time centers around school. It is not only the 3 “R’s” being absorbed by their minds at school, it is also social behavior, outlooks on life in general and to a great deal their moral compass. Their minds and way of thinking are developing during this time and a great deal of who and what they become, comes from their activities at school. Their interaction with teachers and other students in itself is a teaching tool. Their trust and respect given to those in authority is being shaped at this time also. It is difficult for me to convey my thoughts on this. What I am trying to say is kids learn how to deal with someone who has control of them, who tells them what to do and when to do it while at school. They develop the interaction skills necessary to handle this arrangement, starting in kindergarten. It is much different for them than obeying a parent at home who they love, it lacks a personal relationship the child has with a parent. So the child has to sort of make a new rule set with respect to a non-parent in control of them. All of these things above may seem small when taken separately but they are indeed very important through his or her lifetime.
And this is where I am livid as to what our schools are really all about. What is the real intent of our educational system today? When we cut through the bull shit our government and mass media feed us every day it becomes crystal clear. When we really start to look hard at what is going on in schools today it is just so obvious. All we need to do is relate the events going on with what is going on in our Country today to get the big picture. To understand not only the bizarre stuff happening, but why it is going on. What purpose does it serve? So to see it one must also gain the truth of current events in general, to learn what is going on around them and in Washington. If you are clueless about what is going on in America, then you will be blind as to what is going on with schools and your kids you love so much. So you must get with the program and seek out the truth, educate yourself and wake up. And also get down to business and find out what your kids are learning in school, what they are not learning. Meet with their teachers to get a feel about them, you can find out a lot about them if you know how to. Look over their classroom and really look hard, you can learn a lot about the school from doing this. Get involved, get motivated and engage the system as a whole. Talk to their friends they go to school with, may get some more info from them if they are taking different classes.
If you have read this far then I’ll say what the schools are all about today. Remember they are all under the control of the Dept. of Education, they set the curriculum, pick the text books, can force mandatory classes and bar areas of study. They are under the control of the current Administration who sets the agenda and direction the DoE advances with policy. The States and local school districts are systematically being stripped of power to set education policies, much like this Administration is now stripping Congress of their Constitutional power and obligations. The States and districts can to some extent control what is being taught in their schools, but not much. If they do not bow to Washington they stand the chance of losing Federal funding. We all understand this clearly, it is extortion. And to add to the mix we have all of the teacher’s unions. Quite possibly the most corrupt, unethical and down right disgusting union in America today, perhaps second only to SEIU and the AFL-CIO, under Andy Stern and Richard Trumka. Unions have bused kids out to the streets during school time to protest with the teachers for better contracts. University professors have given “special credit” to students who participate with the Occupy revolutionaries. They have even developed courses on just how to demonstrate and protest, good Lord! Trust me, some university professors should not be allowed within 100 miles of any school. And we have Bill Ayers, Obama’s buddy who teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago, you do know who he is right? Google Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn of the Weatherman Underground for an eye full.
So when you get right down to it, Barack Hussein Obama II sets the direction and agenda of the DoE, they create the policy to carry out his wishes, the States and districts implement them at their schools and the union teachers actually perform the act. Congressional oversight of any kind is essentially non-existent. Obama (I call him the “Zero”) has hired Czars in many areas to assist the DoE in methodology and resources that further his direction, in the way of finding and even organizing elements to fulfill a specific need. Such as curriculum choices, text books, teaching aids via multi-media sources. And I will tell you hear most of his Czars are proud communist, I would say everyone of them are fundamental Progressives. We have a lot of bad actors involved with this education system indeed. But as I said, it is not a new thing, it is well planed and has been going on for a long time. The fruits of their labor are just now ripe enough to allow them to push forward with their plans. Our government is using so many traditional communist slogans now days it makes me sick. The problem is most people are just too stupid to recognize them for what they are. This education system has done it’s job well it seems, that is what I meant when I say “ripe”.
Let me say for the record here, I am speaking in general terms about people. By no means do I insist that every person of any group or organization is corrupt or evil. But this is the only way I can write this story, by using general statements. Even in Congress where corruption is deep rooted there are still good men and women of honor and integrity that do in fact defend the Constitution and serve We the People, yet not many. And there are good teachers also in our schools, I would go as far as to say even excellent ones that have the best interest of their students in heart and mind. Also not every union member is bad, but many of them in fact are and more concerned with self interest than their students. But in my eyes ALL teacher’s unions themselves as a whole at the administrative level are corrupt and could care less about our children. Many of them openly embrace communist ideology in their philosophy of operation.
Arne Duncan is the current United States Secretary of Education. I would guess just another good old boy thing going on here as he had previously served as CEO of the Chicago Public Schools. Of course we all know about the relationship of Obama and Chicago and the many positions in the Administration that were and are filled presently with his socialist radical buddies from there. I could list a few notable ones but that is another story in it self. He and President-elect Obama have played pickup basketball games together in Chicago since they met in the early 1990s through Michelle’s brother.
We also have an “African American” education czar, Mr. David J. Johns. His official title is “Executive Director of White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans”. Just why does America need this today? Further more why do we need the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People today? This is all bull shit! It is nothing more than another industry for profit using race as a group. I will pay $1000 to anyone who can prove or show me any black child that has been denied an education or has gotten a substandard education anywhere in America today because they were black. This is the same bull shit that the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr and Barack Hussein Obama II himself have been using for years to create and sustain racial divisions within the Country. They do this for profit, for money, for self interest and greed! They sustain racial prejudice in America for a living, but most importantly CONTROL. I will talk more on his mandate later, it is all a lie. What about Asian or Latin school czars? What about a White European education Czar? You want to perpetuate race divisions and tensions in schools, this is how you do it. This is one of the ways the school system is creating groups and pitting them against each other, the same way they are doing it at a National level indeed.
Kevin Jennings, who is Mr. Obama’s controversial “safe schools czar”, official title “assistant deputy secretary for the office of Safe & Drug Free Schools in the U.S. Department of Education”. It is curious why White House officials and Education Secretary Arne Duncan believe it’s worth it politically to continue taking arrows for defending Kevin Jennings, who is Mr. Obama’s controversial “safe schools czar.” The evidence suggesting he is unfit to serve as a senior presidential appointee is startling and plentiful. It was revealed this week that Mr. Jennings was involved in promoting a reading list for children 13 years old or older that made the most explicit sex between children and adults seem normal and acceptable. This brought up anew Mr. Jennings’ past controversies, such as his seeming encouragement of sex between one of his high school students and a much older man as well as his praise for Harry Hay, a notorious supporter of the North American Man Boy Love Association. Mr. Jennings was executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) from its founding in 1995 until August 2008. “Jennings was obviously chosen for this job because of the safe schools aspect… defining ‘safe schools’ narrowly in terms of ‘safe for homosexuality’,” Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow at the Family Research Council, told FOXNews.com. “But at least half of the job involves creating drug-free schools, and we’ve not been offered any evidence about what qualifications Jennings has for promoting drug-free schools.” Jennings’ detractors note that he made four references to his personal drug abuse in his 2007 autobiography, “Mama’s Boy, Preacher’s Son: A Memoir.” On page 103, discussing his high school years in Hawaii in the early 1980s, Jennings wrote: “I got stoned more often and went out to the beach at Bellows, overlooking Honolulu Harbor and the lights of the city, to drink with my buddies on Friday and Saturday nights, spending hours watching the planes take off and land at the airport, which is actually quite fascinating when you are drunk and stoned.” Sprigg said that quote is particularly unacceptable for someone who has been named to lead America’s Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. Did I forget to say he hates Christianity in a big way, he has said a lot about this also.
Teacher’s unions are pushing Communism, Socialism and Progressive ideology on every student in our public schools today. Their tools are Common Core and CSCOPE, we will revisit them later. They are making your kids into mindless zombies that have no idea what Freedom even means. Have no clue what America is about, none what so ever. Above I gave you the Federal end of this business, here is the class room end of it. If you think for 1 second these unions do not yield power over your kids education, you had better wake the hell up. America has two national education unions that control smaller local unions and set the precedent for teacher union behavior nationwide. The smaller of the two education unions is the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) which is also an AFL-CIO affiliate. The largest union in the United States, and in education, is the National Education Association (NEA). As a result of its size — and the vast number of dues-paying members — it is one of the most powerful political forces in the nation. Trust me when I say these unions are about politics and ideology, education just happens to be the avenue they are using today. As far as I am concerned these unions could give a rat’s ass about your kids education, they are in the business of indoctrination and political power. Here is a bit about both.
American Federation of Teachers (AFT)
Total Receipts – $223,976,034
Political Activities and Lobbying – $18,808,729
Contributions, Gifts, and Grants – $3,655,152
Members – 887,567
The smaller of two national education unions, though no less contentious, the AFT is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO. Like its AFL-CIO brothers, the AFT indulges in the language of conflict. Among its bank accounts are a “solidarity fund” and a “militancy/defense fund” — the union’s single largest war chest, with more than $31 million in the bank at last count. The AFT’s militant behavior is best illustrated by its association with one group in particular: the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). In 2004, the union spent $100,000 of its members’ money on a minimum wage ballot campaign in Florida. That campaign, designed to increase voter turnout for the Democratic presidential candidate, was run by ACORN, which has been tied to voter fraud in at least 10 states. Undaunted by the fraud that beset that campaign, the AFT’s New York state federation paid the radical group more than $125,000 to organize teachers. The AFT isn”t afraid to flex its financial muscle in the policy realm, either. In its fiscal year 2005, the union spent $7.7 million on government relations (influencing their own employers) and almost $5.5 million on public affairs (indirectly influencing their own employers). And while there are countless AFT members who don’t like the causes the union supports, there is no one who condones the fraud seen by local AFT unions. One of the most egregious examples of union staff taking advantage of their members comes from the AFT’s Washington, DC affiliate, which lost $5 million to embezzlement. The union’s 2007 financial filings with the Department of Labor show that it gave members’ money to the following left-leaning organizations.
National Education Association (NEA)
Total Receipts – $377,365,590
Political Activities and Lobbying – $50,408,080
Contributions, Gifts, and Grants $89,164,816
Members – 3,321,881
The National Education Association is the largest union in the U.S. and one of the most powerful political forces in the nation. The NEA largely escapes public notice as a union, but its attitude should be a front-burner concern for parents. The NEA’s Oregon affiliate has stated that “[t]he major purpose of our association is not the education of children, rather it is, or ought to be the extension and/or preservation of our members’ rights.” Like almost all unions, the NEA vigorously fights competition. The organization challenges any hint of education reform that would increase teacher accountability or allow for charter schools or other forms of school choice. In 1993, Forbes reported: Last year the NEA-affiliated California Teachers Association used unprecedented tactics to disrupt the effort to place a school initiative on the ballot – including blocking would-be signators’ access to the petition in shopping malls, allegedly sabotaging the petition with fake names and offering a signature-collecting firm $400,000 to decline the account. And the NEA isn’t afraid to align itself with disreputable organizations to achieve its goal of killing reform. It gave a large grant to a group called the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), which has been tied to voter fraud in a dozen states, government-grant fraud, and even union-busting. The purpose of the money was simply listed as “NCLB” — No Child Left Behind, the legislative bane of the union’s existence. That the NEA would give money to ACORN — and nearly $250,000 of its members’ money to a 2004 political campaign in Florida run by ACORN and beset by allegations of voter fraud — begins to make sense in light of the groups’ shared radical philosophy. Both organizations were profoundly influenced by Rules for Radicals author and self-avowed Marxist Saul Alinsky, whose teachings advocated that education union organizers not let teachers “fraternize with the enemy” because “distance helps you polarize the issue.” The “singleness of purpose” a union organizer must have, wrote Alinsky, is “the ability to build a power base.” Author Peter Brimelow has gone so far as to allege that “[t]he entire raison d’etre of the National Education Association is political. It’s engaged in what economists call rent-seeking — using political and institutional power to extract money from society.” The NEA reported spending $25 million on political activities in its fiscal year 2005. But financial disclosures don’t show the full extent of the power of the union, which also boasts an army of paid political operatives that is bigger than the staff of the Republican and Democratic National Committees combined. There is no doubt where the union’s political allegiances lie, even if they don’t correspond to their members’ political beliefs. Between 1990 and 2008, ninety-three percent of donations made by National Education Association political action committees and individual officers went to Democrats, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. But the NEA admits that only 45 percent of public school teachers are Democrats. In its fiscal year 2007, the NEA spent $80.5 million more than 20 percent of its entire budget on “contributions, gifts and grants” that largely funded left-wing and non-education-related causes, including drives to raise the minimum wage and campaigns to kill Social Security reform. As a Wall Street Journal editorial noted, the union’s financial disclosure forms “expose the union as a honey pot for left-wing political causes that have nothing to do with teachers, much less students.” Left-leaning recipients of teachers’ forced dues.
This represents just the tip of the iceberg just how screwed up these unions are. But let us move on, Common Core and CSCOPE. Both of these are just simply pure Evil, you have no idea. You can just stop reading right now and Google either of these to understand just how much trouble we are in as a Republic. And why pulling your kids out of public school tomorrow is the only way to save them from this bull shit. Honestly I do not even know where to begin with these two curriculum programs used by our schools today. They are both shrouded in secrecy. The teachers may not even discuss what is being taught with them with a parent. You are out of the loop, you are not allowed to see what is being taught. The students are told not to tell you anything about what they are learning from them. But I know, and you would also if your just opened your eyes and wanted to know. These programs are the problem, you are the solution. But most every parent is so dam clueless about what is going on, most every parent is incapable of being a solution.
I could go on about but it would be pointless. But I will just say here what our school systems are doing with our kids and let you make the decision if it matters to you. I will give it to you hard and straight and trust you will do something about it. There is a list of easily found material to educate yourself at the end of this. It is mostly from 2 places in the past few days, that shows this crap is no secret to anyone. So please go read a few of these links and learn what is going on, remember you do love your kids, right? This is a communist thing that has happened over and over again around the world to control the population. End of Rant!
Part 2 will be short and to the point in outline form dealing with what they are doing to our kids and how they are doing it under our noses.
Part 3 contains links on the topics talked about here so you can educate yourself first hand.
