A Timely Commentary — Tyranny in our time: Americans must repudiate the political class.

I just finished reading a commentary in the  Washington Times written by Dr. Milton R. Wolf titled  Tyranny in our time: Americans must repudiate the political class. Dr. Wolf made very relevant  arguments.

Dr. Wolf in his article equates Obama to King George III  making the argument that we may be comparing Obama to Richard Nixon when the comparison is more appropriately King George III.  I agree.

Dr. Wolf goes on to point out that the methods used by both Nixon and Roosevelt have not been lost to Mr. Obama. Clearly Nixon had a perceived enemy list. It has been reported that Obama and those  using his list are willing to carry out his [Obama] abuse on white and conservative groups and are relentless at attacking Obama’s enemies. I believe that accusation to be true. It is and has been playing out.

To me there are differences between Nixon and Obama. Nixon worked hard to realise his goals. Obama’s life thus far seems to be marked with special considerations. Nixon was paranoid. Obama seems to be driven by revenge directed at anyone he believes does not share his ideology. Obama is not paranoid he seems to be vindictive. Shit seemed to stick to Nixon. Obama seems to come out ‘smelling like a rose’ even with shit all over his suit.

Dr. Wolf reminded us in his article that “In 2010, it was Mr. Obama himself, who declared to a roaring crowd, “We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends.” Chilling.” Chilling indeed.

The recent scandals of the IRS and assaults on the Associated Press and Fox News are but two examples. Mr. Obama has rewarded CNN, MSNBC and the IRS , under Obama’s presidency, rewarded ProPublica. The EPA assaults are just bubbling up as the next Obama administration scandal.

By the way the  IRS has not bothered to post an apology to the Tea Party and others on their website.

Harry Reid, on Obama’s behalf, is employing Roosevelts failed attempt to pack the courts in order to drive Obama’s ideology. Reids “nuclear option” of doing away with the filibuster is looming.

Reid has taken up the mantra of “you are either with us or against us”. Obama has used variations of this quote originally attributed to the fascist Benito Mussolini.

To be fair Bush used the quote when he was building support for his Iraq war. Iran protesters used a variation of the quote against Obama when Iran protester said “Obama: Are you with us or against us?” Apparently Obama was against the Iranian protesters since they were left “high and dry”.

The point to take away from the use of the fascist quote by the Washington elites as Dr. Wolf said “a political class wielding the power of goliath”.

In a commentary titled, Inside the Progressive Mind, By N. A. Halkides he said “The Progressive believes in precisely two things: his own magnificence and the constructive power of brute force. In combination, they lead him naturally from the role of pestiferous busybody to brutal dictator.” I think as it relates to Mr. Obama ideology that progressive is interchangeable with that of fascist.

There is some glimmer of hope that liberals are beginning to view Obama and his administration for what they are, thugs. The liberal public is also awakening to the idea that ,as conservatives have long recognized, that the ruling political class are we the peoples enemy. The playwright and author David Manet came to his senses. Manet realised his former self was one of a ”Brain Dead Liberal’. Manet is now a convert to conservatism, view video.

I have long believed that liberals will move towards the liberty movement as they wake-up to the fact that their personal liberties are threatened. The liberals are a selfish bunch and when their perception that their personal comfort is under siege they will act. Perhaps because we conservatives also love liberty the next step in the liberals evolution will be a move to just right of the middle. The 2016 election may inform us if that is true.

Our Republic took root because of the actions that King George took against the inhabitants of the new America. During King George III reign the British were reacting to threats against imperialism. Obama’s reign is one of war directed at those sovereigns and groups who do not agree with his views.

A difference between King George and Obama was King George was about retaining wealth for his Empire. Obama is about moving wealth from the Empire.

There will come a time, in the near future, where we the people will revolt against the political class. I only wish to be alive to see the revolt occur. The frustrations that will drive the sovereigns to revolt have already taken root.
