With a wink, wink the U.S. has a “shared enemy” with Islam!
Now doesn’t this beat all? (Read the press release below)
Here is an example of hypocrisy and of the most blatant attempt at political correctness while at the same time a bold attempt to locate the next target for a Drone strike that I swear I have ever witnessed.
After reading the words “common enemies” I slapped my forehead and said WTF! Then I must say I felt embarrassed by my government. Of course the embarrassment is not a new feeling my government embarrasses my sensibilities frequently. But WTF!

U.S. Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Iraq and Pledges to Help Combat al Qaeda
Spokesperson, Office of the Spokesperson
August 10, 2013
The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the cowardly attacks today in Baghdad. These attacks were aimed at families celebrating the Eid al-Fitr holiday that marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The terrorists who committed these acts are enemies of Islam and a shared enemy of the United States, Iraq, and the international community.
The attacks today bear the hallmarks of similar suicide and vehicle bomb attacks in Iraq over the past ninety days. Most of these attacks have been perpetrated by al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). AQI is led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224. He is also listed at the United Nations Security Council 1267/1989 al-Qa’ida Sanctions Committee.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, also known as Abu D’ua, is now based in Syria and has changed the name of AQI to the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS). He has taken personal credit for a series of terrorist attacks in Iraq since 2011, and most recently claimed credit for the operations against the Abu Ghraib prison outside Baghdad, the suicide bombing assault on the Ministry of Justice, among other attacks against Iraqi Security Forces and Iraqi citizens going about their daily lives.
The United States has offered a $10 million reward for information that helps authorities kill or capture Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This reward is second only to information leading to Ayman al-Zawahiri, the chief of Al Qaeda’s network, and symbolizes our ongoing commitment to helping our partners in the region eliminate this threat from their territory.
In this regard, the United States is prepared to work closely with the Iraqi Government to confront the threat posed by Al Qaeda in Iraq and other terrorist groups. We look forward to discussing bilateral cooperation in this and other areas, pursuant to the Strategic Framework Agreement between our two countries, during the upcoming visit of Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari next week in Washington.
Our deepest condolences go out to the families of the victims of today’s attacks and we hope for the quick recovery of the injured. The United States will stand with the Iraqi people as they work to overcome these horrific attacks perpetrated by a common enemy.
Obama made a statement recently that “we must stop saying we are at war with Islam”. Now the State Department says “The terrorists who committed these acts are enemies of Islam and a shared enemy of the United States, Iraq, and the international community”. Now isn’t that just a crock? “Shared enemies” now that is just plain propaganda.
We wage war on Islam for over a decade because Islam declared war on America and suddenly the war is over except for a bunch of loose nuts! Give me a break!
America declared war on Iraq because its ruler fell out of favor with the U.S. government and on a pretext of ‘weapons of mass destruction’ now we are buddy buddy’s and have a common enemy, loose nuts of Islam. WTF!
The fact is the U.S. government has supported many despotic governments over decades that have ever ruled in Islam. Were those governments friends of Islams children? Was the U.S. government friends of Islams children? I don’t think so!
If I were in a position to give advice to Islamic nations I would say first stop waging war on American soil. The American people would appreciate. Second tell the U.S. government to go screw yourself.
The U.S. government hitched their wagon to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and that proved to backfire. The non Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian souls do not blame the American people they hold the U.S. government accountable and they should. Egypt may very well be in turmoil for a decade or more. In this case who were the enemies? They were the Muslim Brotherhood (loose nuts) and the U.S. government. The two “common enemies” of the majority of Egyptians.
The U.S. government is actively supporting the rebels in Syria. Our government can not tell the difference between a rebel who is an enemy of Islam nor one that is a Muslim Brotherhood rebel that is also an enemy of Islam. Syria is awash with enemies (loose nuts). So what is this “shared enemy” crap? Truth is Bashar_al-Assad fell out of favor when he denounced the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. Nationalist and anti-Western rhetoric soon became a standard part of Assad’s speeches. Assad was then toast.
I know there are Muslims who would like to live in peace, get on with their lives. As I see it there are two options: (1) take control of your own country and live peacefully with each other and (2) tell the U.S. government to take a hike.
Note: The State Department had a big old ‘Share’ button on their website accompanying their press release; therefore, I concluded that as a taxpayer who is forced to contribute to their salaries that the ‘Share’ was meant for me as well as all the social media subscribers of the Muslim world. I concluded that States goal was to hang that ten million dollar carrot out to the widest audience. Kinda sick but that seems to be Obama’s foreign policy sick, weak and schizophrenic.
